FMCG branding case study
Project background: A team of scientists and researchers from Chennai, Tamil Nadu India has formulated a range of natural laundry and lifestyle products like liquid detergent, stain remover, and room fresheners. The founders Mr. Vignesh Murugan and Mr. Sha Hussain approached Arabella Design to design a sophisticated premium looking FMCG brand that would evoke a soft, caring, and comfortable feeling, just like a bunny’s hug. This project focused on creating a brand identity that communicates purity, safety, and trust while appealing to the growing demand for natural, eco-friendly household products.
Brand archetype
The innocent: Bunnyhug
The brand endorses nature and natural living. The innocent archetype is honest and pure, with no ill will against anyone.
Personality: Generous, honest, caring, and compassionate
Brand communication: Straight talking, simple
Brand identity design
The FMCG brand logo has been designed as a doodle for simplicity and high visibility. The heart shape formed by the bunny ears depicts the brand’s love for people and their clothes. The icon is unique, and easily identifiable even in small sizes. The circle adds a feeling of wholesomeness and also gives it a desired FMCG branding look & feel.
Recommended logotype: Combination mark type
Graphic family: Organic (clothes/water)
Look & feel: Simple, sophisticated look with a feeling of softness and being cared for.
The recommended brand color palette and typography family to bring alive the innocent FMCG branding look & feel.
Aligning with the FMCG company branding look and feel, the brand color palette has shades from deep blue to orange. Orange to attract attention and aqua blue for the feel of water and freshness, while staying sophisticated.
